8 July 1528. Richard Tuttisham of West Peckam in the
dioc. of Rochester. To be buried where as yt shall please God. To high aulter
of the churche of West Peckam 3/4. To the highe aulter of the churche of
Alhallowes of Maidston 6d. To the mother churche of Rochester ?Vd.
To the fryers of Ailesford for a trentall of masses to be saide there 10s. To
the pryour of the same place for his labour to be at my burying to say and
sing all the hole servis and salmes that ought to be said and song there 3/4.
To the brotherid of Corpus Xti holden in Maidston to pray for my soule and my
frendis soulis and all Xten soulis 3/4. I bequeth to be doone for me every
yere on the day of Saint Antony which is the xvij dai of January every yere 10s
as long as the mony will leste beyng in the handis of myne extours by bills or
obligacions or other wrytings bounde to me and myne extours.
Residew to Margaret my wif and Dunston Tuttisham and John
Tuttisham and Antony Tuttisham my sonnis and I make Thomas Roydon squier, John
Tuttisham and Wm Tilden myn extours.
This ys: of my londis and tenements in the parishe of West Peckam
(Peckham), East Peckam, Hale and other places in the which Thos Roidon
Esquire, James Clerke, gent, John Tuttisham, Wm Tilden and Roberd
Branner stond feoffid in to my use I will all my landis in West Peckam myn
extours shall take the profitts of till my doughters be of laufull age to be
maried and the money therof to be departed equally betwene theym and my other
landis to be devyded betwene my iij sonnes after the discrecion of my extours
the said sonne to be rewlid and guided by the said Thos Roidon and
my other exors.
On 4 May 1530 at Lamhith Thos Roidon armiger, John
Tuttesham and Wm Tilden exors renounced and com adm. to John
Tuttesham.
