William Olyver of Godden in the parisshe of Seele
(Seale) in Kent. 14 April 1516. To be buryed in the chirche of Seele afor the
high rode there. A honest preist to syng in the said chirche a hole yere ix
mrcs. I bequeth to the byeing of ij candilstikks of Latyn to stande afor the
higyh awter in the chaunceyll 26/8.
To Jone Wode my doughter X mrc. Margery Crymell my doughter 33/4
so that John Crymell her husbond make her a joynter of 26/8 by yer duryng her
lyff.
To Marion my wyf all my houshold stuff and half my corne within
the doores and without and vj of my best kene, 20 ewes and 20 lambys with
theym and my best horse.
To Jone Frenssh my servunt 43/4 her catell preysed to the same.
To Maryon Cord my servunt 20s, her catell preysed to the same. Richd
Olyver my broder 6/8. Margery Crymell my doughter 6/8.
Residue to John Olyver my son, executor and John Tebold overseer.
This is: I wyll Marion my wyfe have all my tenements with almaner
londs in Leyborn duryng her lyf. I will the same Marion have the parlor with
the chambr over the same and a chamber belowe with a chamber over the same
joinyng to the seid parler a Godden with free comyng yn and owte at all tymes
also half the proffets of my lands and tenements in the parisshe of Seale
terme of her lyff.
I wyll Ame my mother have 20s yerely out of my lands
in Cowdam and also fyrewod for her to ben brought home to her duryng her lyff.
I wyll Agnes Weks wydowe have the house whiche she now dwellith
in with ij acres londe lying to the same at Godden terme of her lyff paying
yerely 20d and after her decease I wyll that Kateryn Weks her
doughter have the same house and ij acres in fee symple paying yerely to my
heires the seid rent of 20d for ever.
Residue of my londs and tenements I will the seid John Olyver my
sonne have them imediately after my decease and all the londs assigned to
Marion my wyff after her decease.

Probate 20 May 1516 by John Olyver exor.
