The first part of this Will is written in Latin
6 Juni 1510, Willmus Barworth de Ealding (Yalding).
Names mentioned include: Johem Summer of Hadlow executor; Mr Ricardum Harenden
supervisor. Dno Thoma Awlan, Johanne Wollchy, Alicia Sommer.
This is: I will Richd Godyng of Pekham shall deliver a
state of certeyn londs in Lenton parisshe to my feoffes. I will Denys my wif
shall have all my londs, rents, etc. in Kent terme of hir life if she mary not
and if she mary then I will my sonnes shalhave all my londs etc. I will Denys
my wif shall have 40s yerely in fee symple if she mary not. If she
mary then 40s yerely terme of hir lif of certeyn londs within the
parisshes of Tunbrigge and Lee callid Honels.
I will my son Thomas shall have all my londs in the parisshes of
Tunbrige and Lee if my wif mary except that his moder shalhave yerely as is
aforsaid. I will Wm my son all my londs within the parisshes of
Loost, Lenton, and Marthen in lykewise orells the money that cometh therof.
A preest shall syng for my soul in the churche of Ealdyng
immediately aftir my decesse V marke. A trentall in the said churche and Xs
therefore.
I will Xs shalbe geven for to mende the wey that is
betwixt Mr Musarste and William A Downe and Xs to the reparacon of
Branbrigge that lyeth in Pekham parisshe. To the mendyng of Twyworthe brige

To Petir Janyn my servunt 20s upon this condicion that
he shall well and truely levy and gadir all suche somes off money as was due
to the said Barworth at my decesse and paid to myn executors they paying for
his costs.
I will Edmond Clarke of Ealding if he go to Rome there to do syng
masse for my soule and all Cristen 6/8.
If all my sonnes decesse my feoffes and exors shall sell all my
londs and dispose the money for the welth of my soul and all my frends in
every parisshe where my londs lyethe.
