14 May 1512. Johane Howe of West Mallyng wedowe. To
be buried in the church yarde of Or blissed lady of Estmallyng [sic. but ? an
error]. to high aulter 3/4. To the bretherhed of our blissid lady in the said
church 6/8.
To Alice Done my cosyn my bedde as I lye yn with my gowne
guedwith cloth.
To Johane Sexten my goddoughter my best beds with 5 ryngs upon
theym whan she cometh to laufull age or to be maryed. If she decesse or she
come to laufull age the said beads to be sold and the money to be disposed in
deeds of charitie for the helth of my soule and all Xten soules.
Residue I will Wm Hunt and Wm Stevynson
whom I ordeyne myn exors shall sell and the money in deeds of charitie.
This is: I will myn londs medowes pastires and woods in the
parisshe of Sheborne be sold and the sall soo made the money therof comyng I
will that oon honest preest shall syng for my soule my husbonds soules in the
parisshe of West Mallyng by the space of a yere and in the parisshe of
Sheborne by the space of a quarter of a yere and the Residue in deeds of
Charitie.
