Ult. Julii 1499, Johannes Umfrey of Hadlowe.
   Names an places mentioned include:
   Gifts to Alicie (daughter) – 40s. Lamberto (son) 6/8. Matilda famile mee) 6/8. Wife Alicie, Laurencun Farman executor.
   This is: of my lands and tenements. I will my feoffes of truste delyver to my extours a lawfull astate in fee of all my landes and tenements at Herietisham and also of landes in Hadlowe called Brechewode and they thanne to make sale therof to the beste price that they canne and with the money fynde a preste the space of ij yeres that is to sey oon yere at Hadlowe and a noder yere at Pekham and he to have for his salary for every yere x marc to pray for my sowle and for the sowles of my fader and modre and all Xten sowlis and with the residue of the money I will my extours pay my dettis and do other charitable dedis to the pore folkis after theire best discreciouns.
