The first part of this Will is written in Latin
5 Sept 1493. Willms Pyx of Yalding.

Agneti. Wm Coolt, Robert Codde Thomas Codde. Georgii Markery.
Gift to Dionisie (mother) 5 marcs and a cow. Wife to deliver to
each of his daughters at marriage a pair of sheets. Gift to Nicholas Noone,
vicar of Yalding.
William Astyn, Thomas Gooding executors.
Johem Pympe and Robbin Codde supervisors.

This is:. 5 Sept 1493. I will my feoffees a none aftre my
deceasse shall suffre Agnes my wife to have my place which I nowe dwelle in
with all my landes late purchased of Wm Warbilton tylle myn eldest
sonne come to his age of xxj yeres and at the whiche age of xxj yers graunt
unto hir an annyte of xsl yerely during hir lief oute of alle my
landes except oute of my owte landes.
I wol myne extous shall sette to the sume of xx marc the whiche I
wil that Johanne and Elizabeth my doughters shalhave to there mariges. Myne
extours shalhave and receive revenues of residue of alle my landes to suche
tyme as my sones come to suche ages as shall hereaftere folowe –
First I wol that Thomas my eldest sone shall have att the age of
21 yere my place and all my lands lying therto with all there appertuns the
which I bought of Wm Warbilton to him and his heires in fee simple.
I will William my sonne have my place with alle my lands lying
hterto the which was my faders except the londes whiche shalbe sold as is
before shewid. Also a pece of lond ij acres I bought of Wm Colts,
at the age of xxl yeres.
I wil that Hugh my sonne have my howse atte Conet Gate in Ealding
with j pece of lond called Kyvons iij pecis of lond called Killow halle
Basshoppeslond and Cloblond and j pece of lond callid Mapildorefeld in Hunton
atte the age of xxj yeres.
I wil that Nicholas my sonne shalhave my place called Gervers
atte the age of xxj yere.
If any die then my eldest sonne the landes I purchased of Wm
Warbilton my middelsone my place late my faders with the landes late Wm
Colts and Kyvons and my youngest sonne Brigges and Gerveis and if it happen
but ij of my sonnes to be lyving atte the age of xxj yeres thenne my yongest
sonne shalhave Brigges and Gerveyes and my eldest sonne my place called
Warbiltons and my faders place.
If all die then to remayne to my said doughters, and if all my
doughters deceasse thenne I wil that John Goding the sonne of Thos
Goding my godsonne shalhave my place bought of Warbilton paying to eaach of
his brothern and sustern and to everyeach of myne other sustre children xxs
and all others landes etc. to be sold and the money disposed first an honest
preste to singe in church of Ealding iij yere x marc every yere.
I will xxli in ornaments and other nedis in the seid
churche of Ealding and the residue to amende Briggs and Noyows waies and
marriage of poor maydens and other almes deds in aboute the parish of Ealding.
I will my doughter Alice have to hir mariage £12 or a pece of
medewe lande late Thomas Gooding.
I will Dionise my moder shalhave my hows atte the Court gate with
a croft and lond callid Kyvous and a pece of lond lying in Huntyngdon called
Mapilderefeld with a pece of lond late bought of Wm Colt for terme
of hir lief.
I will Wm Austyn shalhave my bargein of the lond I
bought of Robt William and Edward Salmon payng to myne extous all
the money that they have received of me and xls over that and also
kepe up the tenement.
