20 Feb. 1504. 20 H VII. Richard Burleton of Dertford in Kent Gent. To be buried in the chapell of our Lady Seynt Mary within the parisshe church of Dertford. To high awter 3/4. To the Trynitie light 20d. To the fynysshing of the shygelyng of the Maugdelen werks in the same chuch 10s. To the most nedefull repacions of the pisshe church of Hallyng 6/8. To the most nedefull rep/ons of the parish church of Cokstone 3/4. To the parish church of Stone for the rep/con of the wall 3/4. To the most nedeful repcions of the parish church of Wylmyngton 3/4.
   To every of my god children beryng my name 12d and to every of her not beryng my name 8d. To the Cathedrall church of Rochester 10s.
   Residue to Margaret Jefferey my suster and Wm. Heynes of Dertford my exors and Edward Barnard overseer.
   Last Will. I will Mr Edward Barnard Vicar of Dertford, Robert Blagg and Nicholas Bonefaunt gent shall receyve all such money as shalbe due after my decesse by Johane Heyneys late the wif of Thomas Mery, John Rooper and Robert Shelley gent and Wm. Parker whiche they be bounden by their deede ofe reentre more playnly it doth appere and with the same money to fynde an honest preest by the nomynacon of the said Mr Edward to syng for my soule and all cristen soules in the parish church of Dertford aslong as the money will endure payng yerely to the said preest x marks. And aftir the money be fully paid then I will that ? Ric. Preston clerk and Wm. Heynes release all their right state title and clayme in the seid tente.
   Also I will aftir the said money be truely contented and paied that almanr of evident and muniments concerng the said tent. remaynyng in the keping of Mr Edward Barnard be deluded to the said Johanne or to hir assignes. Wm. Stokmede Wm. Parker, John Genkyn. ?Anchot Gyllys.
