Between James Hanson, gentleman, plaintiff and William Hammond, Esquire, defender, Manor of Eastwall, otherwise Easole, otherwise St Albans and 7 messuages, 7 barns, 7 stables, 2 dovehouses, 7 gardens and 5 orchards, 600 acres of land, 100 acres of meadow, 100 acres of pasture, 50 acres of wood, 100 acres of furze and heath and 20 acres of marsh in parishes of Nonington, Goodnestone next Wingham, Wymingswold otherwise Womengswold, Chillenden, Northborne and Ash next Sandwich.

Whereupon a plea of covenant was summoned between them, i.e. that the aforesaid William Hammond acknowledged the aforesaid Mannor and tenements to be the right of the said James as those which the said James hath of the gift of the aforesaid William and those he hath remised and quitclaimed to the aforesaid James.

Warranty: James hath given to William £1200.
