"Lease of Easole ffarme".  20 September 1698 (10 William 3) 

Parties – William Turner of Gray’s Inn, Esquire (1), William Payne of Nonington, yeoman (2).

Parcels – Messuage of ffarmhouse at Easesole in Nonnington with barns, etc. lands arrable meadow and pasture containing by estimation 100 acres now in occupation of John Austen.

Also one piece of arrable land containing by estimation 30 acres in Nonnington between Easesole alias Yessallhole there and a certain ffarm called Kettington alias Kethampton now also in occupation of said John Austen.

Term – 7 years. Rent £40, rising to £45 and £50.
