"Assignment of Hospitall Lease on Trusts"  27 April 1692 (4 William and Mary)

Parties – John Kingsford of London, gentleman (1) William Hammond of St Albans gentleman (2) Sir John Marsham of The Mote, Maidstone, Baronett, Sir Robert Marsham of Bushy Hall, Hertford, Knight, William Kingsford of London, merchant and Zachariah Kingsford of Canterbury, milliner (Trustees) (3).

Parcels – Lease for 21 years at £50 rent dated 20 December 1687 by the Trees (?Trustees) of St Thomas’s Hospital in Southwark to William Millman of [blank].

The sites of the Mannor of Combgrove and ffanscombe in Hastingleigh, Wye and Crondale then in occupation of Thomas Combes and all lands etc. but excepting all manorial perquisites, woods, etc.

Millman’s estate has passed to John Kingsford.

Intended marriage between William Hammond and Elizabeth, only daughter of John Kingsford.

John Kingsford grants to trustees a rent of £50 issuing out of the pres. as a settlement.
