William Young of Chelsfield dated
26 January 1845
Abstract of the will of William Young of Pratts Bottom, Chelsfield farmer
dated 26 January 1845.
I give to my daughters Sarah, wife of William Brooker of Knockholt,
Mary Young, Joanna Young and Catherine Young an annuity of £5 each for life,
chargeable on all my real and personal estate, to be paid to my said daughters
in equal half-yearly instalments, and not to be subject to the control of any
present or future husbands [further lengthy details, not taken].
I give to my son James Young an annuity of £6 for life, to be
charged and paid similarly.
I bequeath all my real and personal estate to my sons John Young
and William Young and their heirs, as joint tenants and not tenants in common.
I appoint my said sons John and William Young my Executors.
