Chelsfield Wills - Part 1  Abstracts of will from Chelsfield proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury
Lydia Rock of Chelsfield dated 10 November 1843

Abstract of the will of Lydia Rock of Chelsfield dated 10 November 1843.
   I give to my sister Perthany Rock £100 in the new 3½% reduced [sic] and to William Rock, son of my brother William, to James and Mary Rock, the children of my brother James Rock, and to Lydia Elizabeth Rock the daughter of my brother Joseph Rock, £25 each, to be paid out of a £60 share in the Hastings Gas Company, £10 in the hands of my brother James and £30 in Bromley Savings Bank.
   My furniture and other household effects remaining at Hastings I give to the above-named William, James, Mary and Lydia Elizabeth Rock to be equally divided among them.
   I give to my sister Perthany Rock all my wearing apparel.
   I give all the residue of my real and personal estate to my said sister Perthany and I appoint William Peter Rock and James Rock, son of James Rock aforesaid, both in the Town of Hastings, as my Executors, requesting them to accept £10 each for their trouble.
