George Reynolds of Chelsfield dated
26 April 1852
Abstract of the will of George Reynolds [of Chelsfield]
dated 26 April 1852.
I give all my money goods and chattels equally between my
mother Elizabeth Raynolds [sic] widow of the late James Raynolds of
Sevenoaks and all my brothers and sisters -
James Raynolds, Elizabeth Raynolds (now Hodges),
William Raynolds, Rachel Raynolds (now Brooks),
Harriot Raynolds, Elisa Raynolds and Jane Raynolds

Witnesses John Fowler Surgeon, Thomas Fishenden, George
Fishenden .( Thomas and George sign twice)
" Appeared personally George Fishenden of Green Street
Green Chelsfield publican and made oath that he is one of the subscribed
witnesses to the Will and Testament hereunto annexed of George Reynolds
deceased dated 26 April 1852 and containing the words and names "now
Hodges" and "now Brooks" in lines severally even with the
names "Elizabeth Reynolds " [sic] and "Rachel
Reynolds" [sic].
And he further made oath that on 26 April 1852 the Testator
duly executed his said will then containing the said words and names as
they now appear by signing his mark or cross at the foot or end thereof in
the presence of John Fowler, Thomas Fishenden and him the Appearer the
subscribed witnesses thereto all present at the same time and that they
the said John Fowler Thomas Fishenden and he the Appearer thereupon
attested and subscribed the said will in the presence of the said Testator
and of each other and he further made oath that the said Thomas Fishenden
by whom the said will had been written then immediately wrote the
Attestation thereto which he said he thought was necessary and which was
thereupon subscribed by the said Thomas Fishenden and him the Appearer in
the presence of the said Testator and of the said John Fowler but that the
said John Fowler did not sign his name a second time as a witness to the
said will observing that the same did not require any further signature to
be made thereto by him.

On Monday 14 June 1852 the said George Fishenden was duly
sworn to the truth of this Affidavit before me T. Spinks Sur. Prest. E.C.
Brickwood Not. Pub."
Proved 15 June 1852 by William Reynolds the sole Executor.
