of Chelsfield dated 25 July 1851
Abstract of the will of Ann Leigh [of Chelsfield spinster]
dated 25 July 1851.
I desire to be buried in Eynsford churchy6ard.
I give all the money I am possessed of to be equally divided
between William Yeates of Cudham, his brother Richard Yeates of Chelsfield
[sic] and his sisters Mrs. Sarah Hills of St. Mary Cray and Mrs. Alice
Garrett of no. 15 Dean Street, St. Andrew's High Holborn, Middlesex.
I give to William Yeates all my books, my box and contents
containing one of Queen Ann’s Guineas, gold ring and several other
pieces of silver and coins, and I also give him all my furniture.
I appoint William Yeates bricklayer and John Yeates grocer,
both of Cudham as my Executors.
Ann Leigh witnesses Richard Yeates Jesse Morgan.
In the goods of Ann Leigh spinster - on 24 January 1856
appeared personally Richard Yeates of Cudham grocer and made oath that he
is one of the subscribed witnesses to the will of Ann Leigh and that he
and Jesse Morgan the other witness were present at the same time and
attested and subscribed the said will.
Proved 30 January 1856 by William and John Yeates the Executors named in
the will.
