Bellringers continued

   After a time the Captain of the above team resigned and the team was disbanded. J. V. Muller then formed the present band of ringers as follows:-

   Only two changes have been rung on the bells of our Church and are reported as under.

Kent County Association of Change Ringers

   On Saturday, December 13th 1913, in two hours and fifty-four minutes, at the Church of S.S. Peter and Paul, a peal of minor, 5040 changes being 720 each of Grandsire Minor, Woodbine Treble Bob, Canterbury Pleasure,  Oxford Treble Bob, Kent Treble Bob, Oxford Bob and Plain Bob. Tenor 9½ cwts. in A.

   The ringers were :-
       Herbert A. Holden Treble
      George A. Jones 2nd
      John Burles 3rd
      Guy R. Ambrose 4th
      Frederick Hayes 5th
      Frederick M. Mitchell Tenor
Conducted by Frederick M. Mitchell
      H.A. Holden came from Meopham, the rest from
                      Milton-next-Gravesend

Kent County Association of Change Ringers

   On Friday November 5th 1954, in two hours and forty minutes, at the Church of S.S. Peter and Paul, a peal of 5040 minor, being 720 of Oxford Treble Bob, 720 of Kent Treble Bob, and five 720’s of Plain Bob, each called differently.
   Tenor 9½ cwts.
   The ringers were:-
      * D. Mary Ward Treble
      * Mary R. Andrews 2nd
      T Ian H. Oram 3rd
         John L. Morris 4th
         Peter N. Bond 5th Tenor
         Conducted by A. Patrick Cannon Tenor
* First peal in three methods. T First peal of minor "inside"
