Toke's and others, Heraldic Ledger Stones in Kent churches

  William YOUNG  1727  St Mary's Church, Chislet

The medallion measures 25inch in diameter and is cut on a blue ledger stone 67inch x 34inch underneath the tower.

Arms: A fesse nebule between three lions rampant. Crest: On a crown a lionís gamb.

Near this place lieth the Body of the Revd Wm YOUNG late Vicar of Chislett and St Nicholas of Thanet in Kent died 30 August 1727 Aged 50 Years. Also of Ann Relict of the above Rev. Wm Young died 13th April 1770 aged 88 years.
