Toke's and others, Heraldic Ledger Stones in Kent churches

Thomas WISE  1726  Canterbury Cathedral

The medallion measures 23½inch x 21inch and is cut in relief on a blue ledger stone 79inchx 42inch in the south aisle near the west end.

Arms: [Sable] three chevrons ermine. Crest: A lion’s head erased.

Juxta hoc Marmor jacet Thomas WISE, S.T.P. (Generoso stemmate in com.Oxon.Oriundus) Parochiae hujus et de Beaksbourn Pastor Ecclesiae Catheed: Cantuar.
