Toke's and others, Heraldic Ledger Stones in Kent churches

Thomas ROBSON  1692  Rochester Cathedral

The medallion measures 33inch x 32inchand is cut in high relief on a blue ledger stone 82inch x 44inch in the south Transept.

Arms: (Azure) a chevron ermine between three boars’ heads, couped [or] for ROBSON impaling (azure) a chevron ermine between three hedgehogs [or].

Here lyeth the Body of Thomas ROBSON Esq. of London who departed this Life Oct 15th An. Dom. 1692 in the 67th year of his age and Mary his Wife deceased Oct. 23rd An. Dom. 1702 in the 73d year of her Age.
