Toke's and others, Heraldic Ledger Stones in Kent churches

Gulielmi BREWER  1666  St Peter's Church, Ditton

The shield measures 14inch x 10⅜inch and is cut in relief on a grey ledger stone 73inch x 32inch in the Chancel.

Arms: Gu two bends wavy, or, a canton vair. [Tinctures taken from a coloured coat of arms to BREWER in the Chancel] impaling a bull’s head, cobossed, between three mullets.

His jacet corpus Gulielmi BREWER ... filius suprad ..... r Brewer huius [P]aro[chiae] qui obit 14 Augusti Ann Dom 1666 aetatis sue 68. Aliorum maiore damno quam suo
