Toke's and others, Heraldic Ledger Stones in Kent churches

William FINCH Esq  1735  St Mildred's Church, Tenterden

Arms: A chevron between three griffins. Impaling a lion rampant debruised by a chevronel. Here lieth the body of William FINCH Esq., of Leigh Green, in this Parish, who died the 28th of November, 1735, aged 74. Here also lyeth the body of Mrs. Thomasine Finch, sister of the above William Finch ………. March, 1742 [buried 16th March] in the 80th year of her age. Noted by Leland L. Duncan pre 1919
