Toke's and others, Heraldic Ledger Stones in Kent churches

Meric Casaubon 1671  Canterbury Cathedral

In the south part of the west transept is a monument commemorating the learned Meric Casaubon son of the celebrated classical commentator, Isaac Casaubon. He died in 1671, in his seventy-fifth year, having been canon of Canterbury Cathedral during forty-six years.
