Toke's and others, Heraldic Ledger Stones in Kent churches

Nicolai SYMPSON   ????  Canterbury Cathedral

The medallion measures 23½inch x 22inch and is cut in relief on a blue marble ledger stone, 78½inch x 39inch in the south west Transept.

Arms: Per bend sinister, or and sa, a lion rampant, double ?.

Crest: An ? head, ar, erased gu, ducally crowned, or.

Nicolai, Johannis, Nicolai SYMPSON, Avi, Patris, Filii (long inscription in Latin follows).
