Will of Thomas WARLEY of Hythe, Kent 28 July 1550

Thomas WARLEY, bowcher, 28 July 1550.
Buried in churchyard.
Wife Richarden £25, all household stuff, six silver spoons, all the wood in my yard.
Son William £25 when 18, but if he die before then to my wife, my brother and sisters equally.
Thomas WARLEY my father £3. John my brother £3. Joan, Elisabeth, Agnes my sisters 20s. each. My aunt (no name) at Cranbrook 20s.
To Mr DAWNTON to be good to my son 20s. William my servant 6s.8d. John SYKES the saddler 3s.4d.
Residue to Executors – my brother in law Thomas CARDEN, vicar of Lympe, and John WARLEY, my brother, each have 20s.
Wife have my house for 15 years, doing repairs, then to son William if alive, but if dead to be sold – 40s. to 40 poor people, the residue equally between my wife, my brother and sisters.
Witnesses – Mr William DAWNTON, jurate, John SYLK, Thomas CARTELAWE.
