Will of Richard WALLER of Hythe, Kent 9 February 1499-50

Richard WALLER, 9 February 1499-50.
Buried in churchyard of Chapel of St Leonard of Hyth.
High altar 12d. Parish priest my curate 12d. To every clerk that serveth in the quere the day of my burial without dirige and mass 4d.
Wife Cristine all my moveable goods for her life. After her death divided to my two sons and my daughter.
If wife not able to keep my boots (boats) then my sons Richard and Thomas buy them of their mother as they can agree.
Executors – Wife Cristine and sons Richard and Thomas, with Thomas WALTON overseer.
My lands, tenements in the Myddyll Ward of which Feoffees – Thomas WALTON, Thomas HOGYN, John BERDE, John HARMAN.
Wife have all same for her life, doing repairs, then to son Richard, paying to his brother Thomas ten marcs (£6.13s.4d).
Each of my sons pay to Agnes my daughter 26s.8d.
Witnesses – Dom GYLIN, parish priest, Thomas WALTON, Thomas HOWGYN, Robert LOWETT, John BAROWE.
