Buried in churchyard of Holy Cross of Goodneston.
High altar 20d.
Wife Alice have for life all my household stuff, then to Gresell,
daughter of my son half the stuff and five marcs (£66s.8d), at
her marriage or lawful age.
To the children of William STOPELL and Elisabeth his wife five marcs.
Executor – Wife Alice.
Witness – Sir Thomas SOMERSALL, vicar of Goodneston.
My house and garden before the church gate to wife Alice for life, then
to Griselle my son’s daughter and her heirs male.
No probate date. Archdeaconry A.22, Fol. 33, September 1540 (sic).
