Will of Joan BAKER of Goodnestone next Wingham 4 June 1484

Joan, wife of John BAKER, 4 June 1484.
Buried in the churchyard of Holy Cross.
High altar 4d.
That John my husband have rule of my two daughters until their marriage. Also he to have my part of my 11 acres of land in parish of Fordwich during his life, which land came to me and my sisters after death of William SOUTHELAND* my avunculi (uncle); and after death of my husband John that my part to my daughters (not named).
Also husband John have rent from all my lands in Elham, which belonged to John GOLDSMITH, formerly my husband.
Executor – John BAKER.
Witnesses –Magister John BAKER, vicar of Godenston, John FOAD.
Probate 26 January 1484-5.
Wingham, Fol. 80.
*of Faversham, 1457.
