Will of William MOWSEDON of Ebony, Kent 29 September 1468

William MOWSEDON of Ebbeney, Feast of St Michael (29 September) 1468.
Buried in churchyard of St Mary of Ebbeney.
High altar for tithes 12d. Light of Brotherhood of St Mary of Ebbeney 12d. Light ad Great Cross 4d. Light of St Stephen 4d.
Residue to John and William MOWSEDON, my Executors.
Feoffees – John HOWCHYN, Thomas HARREY and Thomas STRETE.
Son Thomas have when 22 the tenement in which I live with the garden and one piece of land called Lakkesfeld, also another piece of land against the said tenement called Geffrays towne, containing three acres and one rod of land.
Son John have the land called Longegh of two acres, also a garden called Gatowne, and to his heirs for ever.
Son William four pieces of land of which three pieces are called knolls, and the fourth piece is called Bromhelles of five acres.
To John MOWSEDON a pan of six gallons, three pieces of pewter and one pair of sheets.
To Denyse MOWSEDON a pan of six gallons, three pieces of pewter.
That Richard COLYN keep and perform the covenant that was made upon the marriage of Alson his wife, that is, Richard should make Alson his wife worth after his death £20.Then Richard have for ever the messuage which is called Eastefeld, of two acres.
To the church work of Ebbene 6s.8d.
No Probate date. Archdeaconry Vol.1, fol. 354.
William Mosedon, husbandman, of parish of Ebney was pardoned 7 July 1450 for having joined John Cades Followers (A.C. vii, 269).
