Buried in the Church of St Mary of Ebney, or in the churchyard there.
High altar 20d; of Wittersham 12d; of Stone 12d. Light of St Mary 8d.
Light of Holy Cross 8d. Light of de Ovena vocat Hognell Light 8d. Light
of de Redyng 4d. Light of St Peter 4d.
To the four men who carry me from my house to the church 16d. and to him
who carries the cross and torches (lampades) from my house to the
church on day of my burial 2d. each. And to each priest 12d.
Robert CAYSARE have one cloke of gyneser color, a russet tunic, doublet
of worsted, pair of boots and pair of shoes. Richard POTYN of
Wittersham, senior, a tarney cloke lined.

A priest celebrate for my soul, parents, etc. for half a year in church
of Ebney and half a year in church of Wittersham.
That the bad church foot path from the Cross called Ovena Cross as far
as the Wall 3s.4d.
Residue of goods to wife Alice and my sons and daughters.

Wife Alice have yearly £4 and take the choice where she will take her
annuity, or the place that I dwell in with all lands, uplands and
marshes for her life. Also wife Alice have six kine, two oxen, four
buds, four weners, two mares, a rood horse, two seams of wheat and two
of barley and a seame of oats.
Sons Stephen and Henry and the child my wife goeth with, if a son, have
all my lands and tenements, equally between them, but if they die to my
daughters.
Margaret my daughter, and the child my wife goeth with, if a daughter
have £10 each at marriage.
That my best bed with all thereto remain to my place that I dwell in.
Wife Alice have half my household stuff, and the other half equally to
all my children.
Executors to sell my Sesenabyll wood if necessary.
