Margarete GOLDYNG of Ebbeny, 10 September 1496.
Buried in churchyard.
High altar for tithes 12d. Light of High Cross 8d. Light of St Peter 4d. Light of St Katherine 4d. Light of St Mary 12d. Light called Hognel Light 8d.
To the making of a new Cross called a Palme Crosse in churchyard of Wyttisham 20s., to be paid by Thomas MATHEWS 15s. and James STEPHYN 5s.
To the four men who carry my body to the church of Ebbeney 4s. each.
To that priest qui venit ad eandum mihi encaristia meam in tempore mortis mei 12d.
To each servant in service of Robert GODLYNG at time of my death 12d.
To marriage of Margaret, daughter of Robert GOLDYNG 13s.4d.
To church of Benynden 3s.4d. To church of Stone 6s.8d.
Residue to my son Robert GOLDYNG who with Thomas TAYLOUR – Executors.
That Alice, the daughter of Robert GOLDYNG when 22 have all the profits from one messuage, 16 acres of land and eight acres of marsh in parish of Stone upon the Dene of Bydynden, during her life.
That John COWARD have one garden called Delifgardyn in Wittersham upon the Denne of Pesynden and to his heirs and assigns for ever.
Son Robert have all my other lands and tenements, not assigned.
