Abstract of Will from Alkham, Kent from Arthur Hussey’s Manuscripts

Will of William DAVY of Alkham, Kent 20 September 1513

William DAVY, senior, of Alkeham, 20 September 1513.
Buried in churchyard of St Anthony.
Sons Thomas and John, each 3s.4d; Alice my daughter 20s.
Wife Joane two kine, ten ewes, and use of all my instuff for life. After her death half household to my children and those of my wife, other half to William DAVY my son.
Wife Joane have half my lands, tenements for life, other half to son William, also the half after death of Joane.
Residue after debts paid to wife Joan and son William, my Executors, with John DAVY my brother overseer.
