Will of William CHAPMAN of Alkham, Kent 23 August 1542

William CHAPMAN, 23 August 1542.
Buried in churchyard of St Anthony of Alkham.
Son Luke £10 to be in hands of Master EVRANGE until son is 21.
Juliane my daughter £6.13s.4d. at her marriage.
Residue after debts paid to Margaret my wife and Executor, with Thomas ELSTED overseer.
Witnesses – Thomas SOMERSELL, clerk, Robert HAMOND, Richard COLLARD.
Wife have my house and land in Cheriton until son is 21. If he die without issue, then to Juliane my daughter and her lawful issue.
