Will of Michael EMPTIACH of St Peter Thanet 6 October 1488

Michael EMPTIACH of St Peter’s in Thanet, 6 October 1488.
Buried in churchyard.
High altar 12d. Ad opus of the church 20d. To each Light that I am a Brother 4d.
To George, Thomas, Richard and Michael my sons four ewes and four lambs.
Executors – Wife Cristine and Robert GRAUNT.
Wife Cristine have six and half acres of land, viz. half an acre in clausura at Solestret, one acre there in east part of same clausura, two acres and half in the Longdane, one acre and half at the Padewhey, one acre at the Southwey.
Son Michael when 16 years old my tenement with two and half acres of land in clausura annexed at Solestrete and to his heirs for ever.
Wife Cristine and sons George, Thomas and Richard have profits from said tenements, etc. until Michael is 16.
Sons have all my other lands and tenements, equally between them.
Witnesses – Robert LASYNBY, vicar, Nicholas EASTON, senior, John UNDERHILL.
