Will of Richard EDWARD of St Peter Thanet 8 Jan 1489-90

Richard EDWARD of St Peter in Thanet, 8 January 1489-90.
Buried in churchyard.
To operibus of church 4d. To each Light of which I am a Brother 4d.
Wife Margerie one cow, and whole of the staurum of my camere, and third part of all grain and cattle - to sons and daughter another third part, and to wife Margerie 6s.8d. for my soul.
Executors – wife Margerie and Simon CULMER.
Feoffees – William AT STONE, William WHITE and Richard NORWOD.
Wife Margerie have my lands and tenements until sons come to age of 20 years, then to Richard and William my sons, except the child in the mother’s bely at this time.
If sons died without lawful issue then to be sold, and 20s to every daughter un-married, to the church work 20s, and all residue for my soul, etc.
Two acres at Hegdale to be sold to pay debts, etc.
Witnesses – Robert LASYNBY, vicar, Richard GOTYSLE, William NORWOOD, and Nicholas NORWOD.
