Will of Robert ROOKE 12 May 1493 of St Lawrence Thanet

Robert ROOKE of St Lawrence in Thanet, 12 May 1493.
Buried in churchyard.
High altar for tithes 12d. To each Light of which I am a Brother in the church a bushel of barley, or 4d.
Wife Joan all utensilia of my aule, camere and kitchen, and half part of all grain and cattle.
Residue after paying debts to my Executors William ROOKE my brother, and Simon NORWOD, to dispose for my soul.
Ad opus of the church of Friars in Sandwich 6s.8d.
Feoffees – Richard SAUNDER and William PIERS.
All lands, tenements, etc. to be sold and money to pay debts, etc, find a priest to sing and pray for my soul, etc. for a quarter of a year 33s.4d. To wife Joan £5. To William ROOKE aforesaid 40s. To Thomas ROOKE 20s. and to Agnes ROOKE 20s, and to the church work £7, and any residue for my soul.
