Thomas
ROKE of St Lawrence in Thanet, 22 March 1480-1.
Buried in the churchyard.
To the operibus of the church 6s.8d. To each Light in the church of
which I am a Brother one bushel of barley. For one canape 12d.
Wife Elene have all the appurtenances of my camere and one cow.
Executors – wife Elene and son Robert.
Feoffees – William ROKE and John BENETT.
Four acres of land at Herston Cross to be sold and money to pay debts,
etc.
That in Feast of St Michael after my death my son William have four
acres and half of land, whereof five virgates are at Pette and one acre
and half at the land called Thomas Adam, and half an acre at Shorts and
five virgates at Northnasse.
Wife Elene and son Robert have and receive all profits from my lands and
tenements during life of Elene, then to son Robert.
